Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machinery including industrial washers, dryers, garment care machines, and dry cleaning equipment to ensure textiles are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently.
• Handle linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles with proper materials handling techniques to prevent damage and ensure quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all laundry areas by adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate laundry detergents.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks safely when loading and unloading laundry carts or moving large items using push carts or other equipment.
• Monitor laundry processes to ensure proper cycle times, temperatures, and chemical usage according to safety standards in production.
• Perform routine inspections of textiles for stains or damages; execute garment care procedures as needed to preserve fabric integrity.
• Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to laundry requests from hotel staff or departments while maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Prior experience in hotel or textile cleaning environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of laundry services including washing, dry cleaning, sanitation practices, and textile care is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate industrial dryers, garment care machines, and other laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for measuring chemicals and managing laundry cycles accurately.
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments; committed to following safety protocols at all times.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation, garment care, and quality control.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly approach when interacting with hotel staff or team members.
