Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated QA Data Specialist to manage critical QA documentation and records, in order to guarantee that they are accurate, complete, organized, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain vendor specifications,certifications, and compliance documentation to ensure raw materials meet company quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements before approval.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA data, item specifications, product attributes, and compliance records in internal ERP system, ensuring consistency across QA, Purchasing, Sales, and Supply Chain.
• Maintain QA reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools; prepare KPI summaries, charts, presentations, and supporting materials for management and internal meetings.
• Provide backup support to the QA Lead by maintaining controlled documents, SOPs, logs, compliance records, and audit documentation, ensuring proper document control and archiving.
• Provide documentation for audits and assist with corrective actions for non-compliant products in accordance with HACCP, SSOP, and company procedures.

Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control and Food Safety, as QA Tech or QA Data Specialist.
• Previous experience working in the seafood industry, with vendor documentation, product specifications and compliance records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, organized records.
• Experience using ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and regulatory requirements preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
