This position serves as a business analyst for the People's Access to Help (PATH) system using knowledge and policies and procedures developed by the Bureau for Family Assistance (BFA) management staff. The primary focus for this position is Child Care Program Business Analysis, addressing PATH user access issues and Master Data Management (MDM) system processing. This position is critical for ensuring data quality in the PATH and MDM systems, ensuring accurate Federal reporting, and ensuring that Federal and State program requirements are met by software systems. This position requires the ability to analyze system data, determine the impact of proposed system and/or data changes, analyzing and testing of new software functionality, review and/or completion of technical mapping and requirements documentation, providing consultation and assistance to system users and other staff, and assisting in the development of functional requirements. This position participates in meetings with agency staff and vendors to design, develop, and implement system functionality into the PATH system. Provides support for MDM data stewardship, case data compilation for litigation requests, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and Legislative audits. Research, design, develop and test new software functionality. Evaluates and analyzes data for accuracy and submits data corrections as needed. Provide consultation and functional assistance to system users and other staff. Position can be called upon to determine system logic, data migration, system security, data structures and reporting requirements. Assists system users in defining their business processes and develops functional and technical requirements. Position may require the organization or development or testing projects related to the assigned functional area. Monitor and conduct unit, system acceptance and regression testing to evaluate system effectiveness and performance.
