This position will assist the Charleston district engineering staff with preparing documentation for a sanitary survey including collecting and reviewing technical and analytical data such as drinking water sampling results, monitoring results, compliance history, etc., track sanitary survey due dates, review and track significant deficiencies identified during sanitary surveys to ensure the public water system submits complete and accurate responses within the required timeframes, review complex technical reports, including sanitary surveys, and other correspondence prepared by the Charleston district engineering staff for grammatical accuracy and formatting, assist the Charleston district regulatory advisor in resolving potential or valid violations as needed, collect and distribute mail and other correspondence for the Charleston district office staff and maintain a physical and electronic filing system to ensure all reports, technical data, and other correspondence are properly filed, and assist in the Office of Environmental Health Services (OEHS) file room with general office filing as needed

Minimum Qualifications
Training: High school diploma or the equivalent.
AND
Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in paraprofessional or clerical office support work related to the specialty area.
OR
Substitution: Any combination of experience as described above and successful completion of coursework from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience at a rate of thirty (30) semester hours for every one (1) year of the required experience.
