RETURN UTAH PROGRAM
The Lieutenant Governor’s Office is seeking an individual for a return to work opportunity. This program is designed to provide 16 weeks of in-office on-the-job training, professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The job is part-time, approximately 25-30 hours per week and the schedule is flexible.

POSITION DETAILS & COMMITMENT
- Salary – $21.00/hr
- Work Format – In-Person (Utah State Capitol, Salt Lake City, UT)
- Schedule Code – AC - Employees in Offices of Elected Officials
- Background Check Required – You must successfully pass a criminal history check.

- As a Special Assistant to the Lieutenant Governor, this position will assist with various tasks to support the office. Tasks will include, but may not be limited to the following:
- Preparing briefing sheets, invoices, reports, memos, letters, archive materials, and other documents.
- Occasional staffing of the Lt. Gov. as she visits counties, agencies, tribes, and other groups and individuals.
- Work within our Salesforce database to process meeting requests and constituent service concerns.
- Event planning and execution, which may include driving a state car to procure specific goods or services.
- Greeting visitors or callers and directing them as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
