As a School Nurse You Will
- Provide special and general nursing services for students enrolled at USDB.
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation of students' medical needs.
- Assist with medical emergencies, perform first aid as needed, and submit incident reports.
- Complete documentation on time.
Minimum or "day-one" qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Utah.
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Enter, transcribe, record, store or maintain information in either written or electronic form.
- Maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
- Risks requiring special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working with contagious diseases, hazardous chemicals, etc.; risks found in potentially dangerous/unusual situations, e.g. being subject to possible physical attack.
- Requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, etc. and recurring lifting.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
