About The Role

Position Information
- Salary Range: $45.53 - $72.25
- FT/PT Status: Full Time
- Background Check: You must successfully pass a criminal history check.

- Location: Calvin Rampton Building – 4501 South 2700 West, Taylorsville, Utah

- Ensuring Data Accuracy and Ground Truthing: This involves verifying performance metrics and ensuring that asset condition data is accurate. This includes tracking asset condition and inventory and maintaining a prioritized needs list for each asset category. They facilitate the inventory of assets in ATOM and other approved statewide systems, along with helping determine appropriate condition assessments.
- Providing Regional Input and Coordination: They provide input on processes, standards, and specifications that will allow assets to improve. They coordinate with the different Asset Administrators to conduct a reality check on programmatic metrics. They review all project concepts to provide input on scope from an asset management standpoint.
- Asset Needs and Prioritization: Ranking is provided as a part of region technical or roadway management teams. They are tasked with providing asset prioritization recommendations for region transportation projects and working closely with the Program Managers to create and prioritize a project program that improves the conditions of assets. They also provide recommendations for the additional asset work on pavement preservation projects.
- Operational Implementation, Data Integration, and Best Practices: These are developed to help project teams ensure projects are scoped to include necessary funding for asset needs. They work with digital delivery to ensure asset data transfer and updates go into ATOM and MasterWorks. They also target improvements to asset maturity goals.
- Be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Utah.
- Have at least two (2) years of professional engineering experience following licensure as a PE.
- A thorough understanding of traffic engineering principles and practice
