Responsibilities
As a valuable member of our team you will be:
- Processing Customer Requests: Use internal systems to process vital record requests or amendments and issue records to entitled customers.
- Applying Policy and Regulations: Evaluate customer requests and documents against established policy and procedures.
- Interacting with Customers and Partner Agencies: Interact with customers by email, phone, or in person to assist them with their order including writing or drafting correspondence with instructions for customers.
- Performing Basic Accounting Functions such as taking payments, running reports and balancing at the end of the day.
Minimum or "day-one" qualifications:
- Customer service experience.
- Experience using computers and office equipment.
- Basic monetary/payment transaction experience.
- An ability to source information and apply it to similar situations.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills.
- More than 2 years' experience with customer service.
- Research/policy driven decision making skills.
- Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
- If offered this position, your continued employment will be contingent upon passing a background check and review. This check will include fingerprinting at various locations for your convenience. There will be no cost to you and fingerprinting will be completed on the first day of employment or shortly thereafter.
- Standard Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
