Why does the job exist?
This position is to administer support and cover all aspects of the Patient Accounting Office.
How does it get done?
This position will ensure proper billing and communication is followed with all insurance and customer service by providing the agency with follow-up phone inquiries, written correspondence and collection of payments from insurance companies, as well as accounts receivable maintenance.
Who are the customers?
This position will work closely with staff, internal departments, visitors, patients and insurance companies.

Minimum Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Employment Requirements
Must successfully complete a background check.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a hospital setting, ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 pounds., long hours of standing, walking, bending, may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and shift work.
