The State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Child Care Resource Developer to join the Office of Economic Assistance's Child Care and Development Fund team. This position oversees child care subsidy agreements with child care providers, who provide subsidy child care for income eligible families, including those who are part of child welfare (foster children) and have child care for state adopted children.

In This Position, The Child Care Resource Developer
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 PM
Dress Attire: Business Casual
Driving is Required
Location: Omaha - 1215 S. 42
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Post high school coursework/training in social work, sociology, counseling, guidance, psychology, child development or related field and experience in resource development, eligibility determination or contract monitoring within a public service organization. OR Bachelor's degree in any of the fields listed above.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with a variety of people are required. Must have basic math, strong computer, keyboarding, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, understand, apply, and explain complex regulations and policies.

In This Position, The Child Care Resource Developer
- Determines eligibility for approval to be a Child Care Subsidy Provider
- Redetermines eligibility to remain an approved Child Care Subsidy Provider annually
- Completes inspection visits where care is taking place
- Assist providers by answering questions as needed
