Job Duties:
- Performs limited tasks relating to refrigeration, HVAC and building systems operations under close direction by a skilled tradesman in each of these disciplines as part of an ongoing “on-the-job” training
- Regulates water level of systems and equipment
- Assists skilled workers in performing major repairs
- Oiling motors, changing belts and filters, painting and cleaning boilers, special events work
- Performs preventative maintenance tasks
- Properly and safely operates equipment used in daily tasks under guidance

Location: 1901 Perdido St. New Orleans LA 70112
Hours of Operation: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - FridayAppointment Type: Probationary Appointment
Compensation: Starting rate of pay is $16.06 per hour, may be increased based on applicants’ qualifications. There is an additional $1 Longevity Pay for hours worked only.
Pre-employment Drug testing, Physical, and Criminal Background check is required.
