Minimum Qualifications
Seven years of social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus four years of social services experience; OR
A bachelor's degree plus four years of social services experience; OR
An advanced degree plus three years of social services experience.
Experience Substitution:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

- Sets operational standards, develops procedures, and monitors workflow to ensure timely, high-quality Medicaid eligibility services across the region
- Establishes staff schedules, priorities, and workload distribution, adjusting to changing demands, legislation, and coordination with parish offices
- Defines and enforces performance and production standards while improving efficiency by identifying barriers and implementing corrective actions
- Ensures compliance with agency policies, federal regulations, and deadlines for application processing, redeterminations, and grievance procedures
- Oversees staffing functions including recruitment, selection, performance management, training, and adherence to Civil Service and regulatory requirements
- Directs and supports supervisory staff by setting goals, conducting evaluations, facilitating staff development, and fostering a collaborative, accountable team environment
- Leads reporting, analysis, and external engagement efforts, including technical studies, stakeholder coordination, public outreach, and responding to inquiries and concerns
