Three years of experience in administrative services.EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.
Job Duties:
- Serves as a Program Administrator and performs professional level administrative functions for the State of Louisiana’s Corporate Liability “LaCarte” Purchasing Card Program with the department.
- Incumbent will play a role in the State Travel program as it relates to reviewing/processing reimbursement request.
- Answer incoming calls, route messages, and provide general information.
- Incumbent will administer multiple programs which have a high level of complex and diverse functions which require independent decision making
- Incumbent develops goals and performance standards for each program, including development and revision of departmental policy and procedures; establishes productivity reporting criteria and procedures for these programs, and monitors performance in meeting these goals.
- Incumbent ensures the implementation of all directives of the Undersecretary.
- Confers with the general public, Department Managers/Supervisors/Employees and vendors to obtain information and answer questions in complex matters and provide pertinent information and data.

Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
