EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
This support may include a variety of clerical duties which include but are not limited to:
- Answering multi-line telephones and routing phone calls to the appropriate staff or taking detailed messages
- Greeting clients
- Notifying staff of client arrivals
- Conducting check-in and check-out procedures for clients
- Verifying insurance coverage
- Contacting clients with appointment reminders
- Processing faxes received
- Entering information into an electronic health record (EHR)
- Maintain a supply of the necessary packets for both clients with scheduled appointments and walk-ins.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational Appointment. Applicants may be asked to service a probationary period that may be anywhere between 6 months and 24 months.
Compensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of $1.00/hour for hours worked performing direct patient care.
- Administrative Coordinator 3: $13.77/hour minimum - $23.59/hour maximum
Location: Mandeville Behavioral Health Clinic in Mandeville, Louisiana
