As a Human Resources Technical Assistant, you will be the gears behind the scenes keeping our team taken care of. Duties Include
- Act as a primary point of contact for managers and staff for payroll-related issues and concerns
- Investigate, resolve, and communicate payroll discrepancies, including missed punches, unapproved timecards and incorrect pay
- Accurately and timely review and follow up on transactions utilizing Workday for new hires, job and compensation changes, transfers, terminations, tax withholding, direct deposit, and timekeeping
- Participate in new hire HR orientation and assist staff with Workday onboarding process
- Maintain confidentiality of information contained in and used by Human Resources
- Assist staff with day-to-day benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and life event changes.

- Two years of full-time work experience performing administrative support work.
- A total of two years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in number one), where 30 semester hours of accredited post-high school course work equals one year of full-time experience.
- Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes experience equal to one year of full-time administrative support work in a human resources-related program area.
