What are the responsibilities and job description for the PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCH ANALYST II position at State of Alabama?
The Public Health Research Analyst II is a permanent, full-time position with the Department of Public Health (www.adph.org). Positions
are located throughout the state. This is responsible, professional and technical research work involving the investigation of various public
health issues and problems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT(S)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in any major including two courses in statistics.
• Three years of experience in conducting complex health-related data analysis utilizing statistical data management software.
NOTE(S)
• Master’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Biometry may be
substituted for one year of health-related data analysis experience.
• Applicants MUST list their statistics courses on the application.
• The Alabama Department of Public Health requires documentation verifying possession of the degree prior to employment.
