Prentiss Insurance Agency is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic Agency Sales Manager to oversee our sales and customer engagement functions. In this role, you will lead our team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets, oversee day-to-day customer engagement operations, and ensure strict compliance with all State Farm guidelines. You will be a hands-on leader—training and onboarding new team members, driving accountability, and fostering a fun, fast-paced, and goal-oriented culture. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Sales Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales and customer engagement team to consistently achieve monthly agency sales targets. Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
Training & Development: Onboard and train new team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and agency workflows to ensure rapid onboarding and success.
Operations & Compliance: Oversee the daily operations of the customer engagement department. Ensure all agency activities, documentation, and processes comply strictly with State Farm guidelines and state regulatory standards.
Customer Engagement Oversight: Manage escalated customer service issues, ensuring excellent service standards are maintained across policy updates, payments, and claims handling.
Sales Accountability: Maintain a personal sales presence, demonstrating best practices in quoting, following up on leads, and relationship building.
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensing (Required): Must possess active Illinois or Indiana Resident Producer Licenses for Life, Health, Property (Auto), and Casualty (Fire). Both states will be provided.
Experience: 3–5 years of proven insurance sales experience with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
Core Competencies: Strong coaching and talent development skills, exceptional communication abilities, goal-oriented mindset, and deep familiarity with insurance products and systems.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year (commensurate with management experience).
Additional Pay: Performance bonuses and team override commissions based on meeting agency sales targets.
