State Fund’s Corporate HR Program has an immediate opening for a permanent Human Resources professional in the Performance Management unit at the Analyst III Level. Under the general direction of HR Business Partners and HR Managers, the Performance Management Professional will support, coach, and advise State Fund leaders in developing and implementing strategies for a high performing, engaged, and accountable workforce; proactively address the more complex, difficult, and/or sensitive performance management, progressive discipline, and leave management cases; assist leaders by reviewing and editing memoranda, draft formal disciplinary actions, prepare for and represent the State Fund in administrative law hearings to resolve/settle formal actions and disputed decisions; ensure the corrective actions taken are defensible and consistent with past practice; and provide training to State Fund leaders on performance management and related topics.

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract. The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.
