What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Records Clerk position at StatCare?
We are seeking a skilled Phone Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in answering multi-line phones and possess excellent communication skills. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy clerical tasks, we would love to hear from you.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Skills in data entry and EMR programs
- Gather patient demographic and person information
- Distribute medical charts to the appropriate departments
- Maintain quality and accurate records
- Ensure patient charts, paperwork, and reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Make sure all medical records are protected and kept confidential
- Completes clerical duties including answering phone and responding to emails
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of basic spelling, grammar, and punctuation to process patient information
- Ability to work effectively with physicians, patients, staff and the public
- Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities
- Understand, support, enforce and comply with company policies, procedures and Standards of Business Ethics and Conduct.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
