The Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department through a combination of talent acquisition, benefits administration, and HR operations. This position serves as the primary coordinator for recruiting activities while providing administrative support for employee benefits, HRIS maintenance, onboarding, and personnel records. The position plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional candidate and employee experience while ensuring compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and HR best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions.
- Post positions on internal and external job boards.
- Source candidates through recruiting platforms and community outreach.
- Screen applications and coordinate candidate interviews.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare offer letters and coordinate offer approvals.
- Initiate background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires.
- Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate pipeline.
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events.
- Assist with employment branding initiatives.
- Process new hire benefit enrollments.
- Coordinate qualifying life event changes.
- Assist employees with benefit questions.
- Communicate with insurance carriers and benefit vendors.
- Reconcile benefit invoices.
- Support annual Open Enrollment activities.
- Coordinate retirement plan enrollments.
- Assist with leave administration documentation.
- Maintain benefit records and documentation.
- Maintain employee records within the HRIS.
- Process personnel action forms.
- Update employee status, compensation, and demographic information.
- Maintain electronic personnel files.
- Prepare employment verification requests.
- Support new hire orientation.
- Generate HR reports and metrics.
- Assist with HR compliance audits.
- Ensure accurate record retention.
- Support employee recognition and engagement activities.
- Assist with special HR projects as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
EXPERIENCE
- 2–5 years of Human Resources or Recruiting experience preferred.
- Healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience supporting benefits administration preferred.
- Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
