What You Bring To SBHG (Qualifications)
Education
- Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Alternative Qualifications: Equivalent professional capacity demonstrated through a combination of relevant work experience, specialized education, or technical training.
- Professional Background: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, application development, or a closely related field.
- Microsoft Power Platform Expertise: Proven track record of extracting, transforming, and integrating data using Power Query, Power Automate, and Dataverse to deliver enterprise reporting solutions within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
- Advanced Power BI Development: Expert-level proficiency in DAX development, data modeling for large/complex datasets, and the implementation of advanced features such as Row-Level Security (RLS), incremental refresh, and dataflows.
- AI & Analytics Innovation: Familiarity with (or the ability to rapidly adopt) authorized AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to accelerate analytics development—including drafting code and documentation—while ensuring data privacy and output validation.
- Data Engineering & Architecture: Strong fundamental knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and identity management principles.
- Database & Reporting Systems: Advanced SQL Server skills, including hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Programming & Integration: Proficiency with cloud and server-based interfaces, including TypeScript, REST API, GraphQL, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Prior experience managing healthcare performance metrics, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, or clinical research data.
