Summary/Objective
Responsible for setting up and operating printer equipment to produce images and logos on various products
.
Essential Functions:

- Set up and operate 1 type of printing machine/press without assistance
- Read and understand instructions on the job jacket
- Create a good quality first piece that matches the proof sheet and job jacket
- Complete paperwork accurately including scrap report
- Properly treat products when necessary
- Responsible for monitoring product while printing
- Able to spot poor print or defective product
- Correctly decipher ink colors
- Clean basic parts of printing machine/press
- Understand the flow of product in the department and move product to designated areas
- Prep and pack products when necessary

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position works in a production/warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to visually identify color swatches and inks.

This is a full-time temporary position 3pm-11:30pm

No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma or GED
Preferred Education and Experience:
1. 1 year of experience in a similar job setting as a printer
