What are the responsibilities and job description for the FWS Student Worker, Game Room position at Stark State College of Technology?
This position provides coverage for the Recreation/Game Room desk. This is a federal work study position. Please verify your eligibility for Federal Work Study with the Financial Aid office prior to applying for this position.
Hours are Flexible - 5-15 hours per week. All hours of operation needed. Limited hours available between sessions.
Specific need: 10:00 am-6:00 pm Monday-Thursday; 10:00 arn-4:00 pm Friday; closed Saturday, Sundays and holidays.
Duties include: Monitors the Recreation/Game Room space; checks out games, controllers, and other equipment to participants; keeps the room neat and organized; notifies the Director of Student Leadership and Engagement of any equipment or repair needs; keeps accurate record of game room usage; and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Must be currently enrolled as a student at Stark State College and be eligible for Federal Work Study.
Must have strong customer service skills. Must have effective personal communication skills. Prior knowledge of video games and systems including their connectivity and capability preferred but not required. Outgoing, energetic, self-starter a plus. The ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner. The ability to present and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
