Key Responsibilities
Operate and set up horizontal and vertical milling machines with precision.
Handle multi-axis machining tasks, including milling, turning, and lathe operations.
Work with weldments and basic welding tools as needed for fabrication tasks.
Interpret complex blueprints and apply strong GD&T knowledge to every build.
Lead or support other machinists during production cycles, offering guidance on tooling, setups, and best practices.
Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs or setups, and ensure parts meet quality standards.
Maintain equipment, follow shop safety rules, and keep work areas organized and production-ready.
Apply strong shop math skills for accurate measurements, offsets, and adjustments.
Requirements
4 years of hands-on machining experience in a production or job-shop environment.
Technical machinist training or equivalent practical experience.
Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T.
Experience with milling machines, lathes, turning operations, and multi-axis equipment.
Familiarity with basic welding tools or working with weldments.
