Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director to join our Residential Service s Program providing services to adults with Developmental Disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management of OPWDD credentialed residential services and a passion for providing exceptional support to our residents and staff. As an Associate Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our 3 Individual Residential Alternative sites. You will play a crucial role in supporting our residents to achieve the highest level of independence that they desire according to their Life Plans.
Duties:
- Provide leadership and support to our Residential staff, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive services, including medication administration/supervision and development of Staff Action Plans.
- Oversee the hiring, training and supervision of staff and ensure that our residences are maintained according to all regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for reviewing/approving all Daily Service Documentation. Ensures that all IRA’s maximize billing based on the current occupancy.
- Remains updated and knowledgeable on all OPWDD and other funder regulations that pertain to Residential Services.
Experience:
· QIDP* status is required, (A QIDP must have a bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, and at least one year of experience working with people who have developmental disabilities. Registered nurses and physicians can also qualify as QIDPs.)
-3 years in a leadership role in a Residential Program is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in senior care or a related field, with a focus on operations management and leadership.
- Experience in hiring, training and supervision of Direct Support Professionals.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
- A deep understanding of Person Centered Supports for persons with Developmental Disabilities.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,500.00 - $67,000.00 per year
