Financial Analyst

Now Hiring: Financial Analyst – Petaluma, CA

Location: Petaluma, CA (onsite)- Direct Hire
Compensation: $85K–$95K (non-negotiable)
Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours

If you enjoy working with data, building financial models, and turning numbers into meaningful insights, this FP&A Associate role could be a great fit. This position combines core financial planning and analysis work, like forecasting and variance analysis, with hands-on use of tools like Power BI and Power Query. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Finance team and helping drive smarter, data-informed decisions across the organization.

What you will be doing:

• Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports
• Support month-end close, including variance and margin analysis
• Build and maintain financial models and forecasts
• Develop and improve reporting tools using Power BI and Power Query
• Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights
• Support budgeting and annual planning processes
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and strategic analysis projects

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and strong Power BI experience (required)
• Experience working with ERP data and building data models
• Understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills
