Purpose and Scope

The MBTA is seeing a skilled Intune Administrator as a one-year contract role with the opportunity for extension to join our IT team. As an Intune Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our organization’s Microsoft Intune and SCCM infrastructure. This role will also be involved in our Intune rollout and patching updates across Tablets, MAC, Intel Laptop, Desktop, IOS and Android devices.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Integration: Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Intune with various devices and applications.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of Intune installations across all device configurations; Tablet, MAC, Intel, Laptop, Desktop, IOS, and Android devices.
• End-User Support – Provide in-person and remote support to our user base
• Participate in weekend or off-hour maintenance activities, as required.
• Enforce change management and compliance processes.
• Respond to each inquiry whether from a customer, vendor or co-worker in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform all other duties and projects that may be assigned
  
  

Additional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations. Might be occassionally traveling to different sites which he is – certain bus stops or train stations, customer support

• Available to work all shifts and locations as assigned or directed
• Available as per assignment by the MBTA twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week as directed by supervisory staff for severe weather conditions, emergencies or any other circumstances that may potentially impact service or the safety of service
• Ability to work all shifts and/or locations assigned or directed.
• Hybrid work schedule with at least 3 days onsite.
  
  

Minimum Education

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field.
  
  

Minimum Experience And Required Skills

• Four (4) years of experience with Intune and SCCM administration
• Experience supporting MAC, IOS, Android, and Intel devices.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, Word, Excel or PowerPoint applications.
• The ability to provide internal and external customers with courteous and professional experience.

• Entra ID experience

• Associate’s Degree in related field and additional six (6) years of required experience
• High School Diploma and an additional Ten (10) years of required experience
