Responsibilities:
- Receive commercial blueprints and upload into RFMS measure software.
- Learn to prepare accurate flooring estimates, including materials, labor, and costs.
- Review project specifications to ensure every detail is covered.
- Collaborate with sales teams and customers to keep projects on track.
- Proactively identify solutions to potential challenges in designs or plans.
- Master managing project changes and communicating updates effectively.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and processes.
- A strong willingness to learn and grow in the estimating role.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and ability to interact with clients, suppliers, and team members effectively.
- Great organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
It is Helpful to Have:
- Experience as an estimator or in a related field.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with blueprints or an understanding of the commercial construction process.
- Knowledge of flooring products or installation processes.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
