Carpet Cleaning Technician

Job Summary
Stanley Steemer is seeking motivated, customer-focused Carpet Cleaning Technicians to provide professional carpet, upholstery, tile, and related cleaning services. Technicians operate company vehicles, use specialized cleaning equipment, interact directly with customers, and deliver high-quality service while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpet, upholstery, and hard-surface cleaning services at residential and commercial locations.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and cleaning equipment.
• Inspect areas to be cleaned and explain services to customers.
• Move furniture and prepare work areas for cleaning.
• Apply cleaning solutions and operate extraction equipment to remove dirt, stains, and odors.
• Complete post-cleaning inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Process customer payments and provide receipts.
• Promote and recommend additional services and products when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and equipment inventory.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Safely drive the vehicles to each site.
• Make professional recommendations to clients.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (3 Year exp min)
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning, restoration, or service-industry experience is a plus but not required. Paid training provided.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing throughout the workday.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely move furniture and operate commercial cleaning equipment.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
