Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and operation of carpet cleaning equipment, including steam cleaners and extraction machines
• Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols for mixing, applying, and disposing of cleaning solutions
• Perform manual handling tasks such as moving furniture or equipment to access carpets and floors effectively
• Conduct floor care tasks including buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Support heavy lifting activities when transporting cleaning supplies or equipment around the facility
• Execute routine janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and detailed carpet cleaning
• Follow environmental services standards by using eco-friendly products and proper waste disposal methods

Requirements

• A strong willingness to learn is valued
• Clean valid drivers license (3 year driving history minimum)
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including carpet cleaning, upholstery, waxing, and general floor care
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely with proper protective equipment and adherence to safety guidelines
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Familiarity with residential and commercial cleaning practices or environmental services is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive attitude toward completing assigned tasks efficiently
