- SCOE Classified Application * Applicants must be at least 18 years of age * Must be ESSA/NCLB compliant by: Holding an AA Degree or completion of two years of study (minimum of 48 units) at an institution of higher education or pass a local academic assessment demonstrating knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics. LICENSE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Prior to Employment: Holding or obtaining a California approved and accredited food safety certificate is required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and two (2) years of successful experience in food service related fields.
