THE POSITION
The Plate Maker is responsible for operating equipment used to create printing plates according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, the ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing demands, and proficiency in operating plate making equipment.
Core responsibilities include:
- Thoroughly reading and understanding job ticket instructions.
- Effectively operating plate making equipment.
- Measuring and verifying plate specifications.
- Ensuring correct materials are supplied for printing.
- Performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance.
- Ensuring adequate inventory of all consumables.
