We are looking for a driven individual to work counter sales at our Craig,Colorado location. This individual will work closely with contractors by providing solutions to their everyday needs. There is a good culture at Standard. You will have the opportunity to see many of the same customers every day, week, and month. They depend on Standard to be their one stop solution for all of their supply needs. There are sales commissions and base hourly wage for all sales representatives. Fun atmosphere and opportunities to move up. Attitude and work ethic prove to be bigger factors of success over industry experience.

Responsibilities:
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to contractors and walk-in customers.
- Invoice material, maintain open orders, purchase orders, and returned merchandise.
- Perform frequent inventory counts, adjustments, and order product into the store.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Be accurate in pulling orders and providing correct lead-times on ordered product.
- Follow through on your work and ensure that customers’ needs are resolved.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Receive product into the store and Restock product on the shelf.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Continuously improve through feedback
