Stand By Me Program is looking for a fun-loving, dependable, and compassionate individual to join our team working with Adults with Intellectual Disabilities in a creative and supportive adult day program environment.
Our program offers engaging daily activities including:
- Art and drama classes
- Cooking activities
- Community volunteering
- Gym assistance and fitness activities
- Recreational outings and more
We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others thrive in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Support participants during daily activities and community outings
- Encourage independence, creativity, and social interaction
- Assist with transportation and supervision
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment
- Work as part of a supportive team
Requirements:
- Reliable and safe vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
- Clear fingerprint/background clearance
- Dependable attendance
- Positive “can-do” attitude
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
(Some flexibility with hours)
Salary : $20 - $25
