Per-Diem Nurse or EMT - Occupational Health

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license in state of California
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a medical professional
• Previous experience in: Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, School Nursing, Family Medicine, and/or Corrections type setting
• Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assessment, triage, first-aid, and education for employee health concerns (injury care) including follow-ups
• Provide wellness materials/information for employee health concerns
• Coordinate employee new hire exams, medical surveillance, and exit exams
• Provide health and safety training such as ergonomics, BBP, hearing conservation, and hazard communication
• Coordinate regulatory testing (drug screening, hearing tests, respirator fit tests and medical evaluations)
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice; assist First Responders in medical emergencies

• BLS certified
• Excellent interpersonal skills and work well under pressure while also working autonomously
