STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

This role provides hands-on service desk and desktop support in a Windows 11 environment, delivering end-to-end resolution of technical issues for onsite users. The position supports Microsoft infrastructure, hardware, software, and basic networking while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role plays a critical part in maintaining daily IT operations and user productivity.

Location: Long Beach, California
Work Type: Onsite (with potential for 1-2 days remote per week after ramp-up)

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and resolve Service Desk tickets through final resolution

  • Provide onsite desktop and technical support for end users

  • Perform onsite network troubleshooting and issue resolution

  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software

  • Troubleshoot and support printers and copiers

  • Provide basic Android and iOS mobile device support and deployment

  • Set up, support, and troubleshoot conference room audio/visual equipment

  • Deliver excellent customer service both in person and over the phone

Qualifications

Required:

  • Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and software

  • Ability to create and resolve Service Desk tickets end-to-end

  • Onsite network troubleshooting experience

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a team environment

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $32 - $40 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
