We are a growing metal fabrication and staging rental company serving a wide range of industries. Our work includes custom fabricated parts as well as staging and rental equipment for events and productions.
This is not a typical desk accounting job — we are a fast-moving, hands-on manufacturing environment with real production schedules, customer demands, and job costing.
The Role
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of bookkeeping, office operations, and customer communication.
You will be the central hub between accounting, operations, and customers — helping keep the business organized, paid, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Accounts receivable (invoicing, collections, customer follow-up)
- Accounts payable (vendor bills, payments, tracking)
- Payroll processing
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with tax filings and coordination with CPA
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
Manufacturing & Operations Support
- Create and track purchase orders
- Help manage job costing and order tracking
- Coordinate with shop team on job status and scheduling
- Track materials, vendors, and incoming orders
Customer Service & Admin
- Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries
- Provide order updates and status communication
- Assist with scheduling jobs and deliveries
- Support quoting and order entry process
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 3 years bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Comfortable communicating with customers and vendors
Highly Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or rental businesses
- Understanding of job costing, purchase orders, and production workflows
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment.
