We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Manager / Technical Accountant to join our team in the US. Based in our main office, this role is vital in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will play a key part in supporting our mission to deliver exceptional transportation services through sound financial practices.
Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP regulations, managing accounting software like QuickBooks and NetSuite, and mentoring junior staff to uphold high standards of financial accuracy. You will also analyze financial statements, reconcile accounts, and contribute to strategic financial planning.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and technical accounting within the transportation or logistics industry. Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial analysis is essential. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms is required. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data will set you apart.
Qualifications: Proven experience in corporate accounting, technical accounting, or financial management within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP compliance.
