The person who will be most successful in this role is one with a proven ability to:
- Build strong, trusting relationships with prospective clients at premium brands
- Pitch relationship-based offering (vs product-based offering) and work with colleagues to nurture prospects through close of sale
- Develop and qualify opportunities to grow Stage3’s business
- Excel at positioning, presenting and negotiating win-win relationships
- Implement best practices in all aspects of the sales process, including outreach, CRM, reporting, lead nurturing, etc.
- Excel when under pressure
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the Business Development Consultant include:
- Create and implement a sales strategy focused on new client acquisition
- Research and contact prospective clients. Build relationships with prospects and nurture opportunities through all phases of the sales process
- Create and manage all sales-related communication
- Act as point of contact for all sales-related interest
- Ensure Stage3 is a part of relevant RFP processes. Guide and be accountable for responses to RFPs and all communication relevant to each RFP process
- Create opportunities to pitch relevant prospects
- Work with Stage3 leadership to plan sales pitches and develop relevant materials.
- Lead sales meetings, including pitches, RFP responses, etc.
- Work with Stage3’s creative team to develop sales materials for each phase of the sales process
- Provide regular feedback to leadership on lead nurturing progress, pending opportunities, and lost opportunities
- Keep updated with cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes, as is necessary

Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience with sales leadership in an agency or similar environment
- General understanding of content development agencies and/or advertising agencies
- Must be process-oriented and highly organized
- Must be both strategically and operationally minded
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High level of initiative and ability to work autonomously
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Remote work is acceptable, but ideal location is in Dallas or Los Angeles regions
- Existing relationships with premium brands is a plus
