We are seeking a Supply Chain Site Coordinator for our global pharmaceutical client. You will represent the External Manufacturing (ExM) Supply Chain team in providing a key link in the supply chain by coordinating activities between the client Planning organization and the Contract Manufacturing organization (CMO). The role will be responsible for communicating supply & demand information between the two organizations, and will be responsible for the timely execution of supply orders for products sourced from the CMO. The role will ensure Customer Service Levels for products in scope of responsibility are achieved, and manage supply priorities and exceptions that affect Customer Service levels to the markets.
This is a 40-hour per-week, 12-month contract (extensions possible), 50% onsite at the client’s office in New Brunswick, NJ. Hours: Monday- Friday (Normal Business Hours)

Responsibilities
- Ensure that adequate production is taking place with the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) in order to meet customer demands.
- Support the on-time delivery of Purchase Orders from CMO’s, and interact with Market Supply Planning
- Customer Service, CMO Site Planning, and Virtual Plant Team (VPT) in achieving the on-time delivery of Purchase Orders.
- Act as External Manufacturing (ExM) contact for internal and external customers for product inquiry, shipments and scheduling activities.
- Ensure purchase orders are placed in a timely manner according to contractual requirements and meet product lead-times.
- Review and update open order reports and track order exceptions and communicate unresolved issues to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Support synchronization of orders from Market Supply Planning and other customers to support campaign timing and consumption of tolled material.
- Implements standard processes for efficient and effective communication of information from CMO to customer, including open order reporting & shipping plan communication.
- Ensures CMO provides open order confirmations through agreed process.
- Proactively supports CMO and customer requests/queries in relation to supply, demand, logistics requirements, artwork change implementation, ship on test requests etc. Support ad hoc market and customer requests for information.
- Ensure CMO supply chain team routinely informed in relation to Regulatory Agency approval status to allow on time production to occur.
- Act as the main point-of-Contact between the client’s Planning and the CMO for the resolution of supply issues that may affect Customer Service in the market.
- Work with CMO and MSP team/Customer to manage shortages/allocations and stock-outs in the market.
- Proactively determines the impact of supply disruption or quality events that may affect market supply, and informs the Virtual Plant Team (VPT) and the customer.
- Coordinate product reworks/redress at CMO site, as required by the business.
- Provide input into performance metrics analysis and comments (On-time delivery, Backorders, Anticipated Backorders).
- Execute and support priority planning as necessary through review of Backorder/Anticipated Backorder (BO/ABO) information and customer inventory levels.
- Provides monthly forecast to CMO to account for delivery requirements in long-range planning horizon.
- Support and lead projects as required. Escalates to Supply Chain Manager as required.
- 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/consumer products industry in a supply chain or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Master Scheduling, Forecasting, Customer Service, Logistics, Distribution, and/or Inventory Management is required, ideally combined with the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Excellent knowledge of the planning operational workflow (MPS, MRP, forecasting) and how sourcing decisions impact site planning operations.
- Experience in SAP is a plus. Project Management experience is a plus.
- Excellent PC and systems skills with competence in MS Office; Advanced MS Excel experience
- Required Associate degree, but Bachelor's Degree is preferred
