We are seeking a Specialist, Learning Systems & Compliance (Hybrid Seattle, WA) for our global pharmaceutical client. The Specialist, Operations Readiness and Optimization (OR&O) play a crucial role in ensuring compliance within Global Patient Operations. This position focuses collaborating with our Learning Management System (LMS) partners to ensure effective deployment of training, creating training content aligned with training standards and adult learning principles, supporting Change Management for Global Patient Operations, and supporting Deviations/CAPA investigations.
This is a 40-hour per-week, 6-month contract (extensions possible), 50% onsite at the client s office in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Creating content based on proposed CAPAs as needed to fill training gaps as identified from root cause analysis (RCA) investigations.
- Instructional Design: Works with content SMEs to create training based off needs analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure that training programs comply with relevant industry regulations and internal policies.
- Deviations/CAPAs: Support SCLT deviations and investigations to capture unexpected events and propose strategies to mitigate recurrence of events.
- Data Reporting: Generate and maintain regular compliance reports to share out to Global Patient Operations leadership for streamlined communication
- System Integration: Work with IT and LMS administrators to integrate learning systems with other organizational tools and platforms. Actively engage in the identification, sharing, and adaptation of best training practices cross-functionally.
- Learning Subject Matter Expert (SME): Create and maintain, as delegated, the Global Patient Operations training material in the client s DMS following training standards and guidelines for learning professionals.
- Change Management: Supporting contact for all Change Controls and Impact Assessments for Global Patient Operations. Track change-related deliverables and action timelines, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance expectations.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality and compliance systems is required
- Technical writing skills is required (Root cause analysis support and CAPA-related documentation)
- Experience with LMS platforms and training deployment workflows
- Experience supporting deviations, CAPAs, and quality investigations
- Experience developing controlled training or process documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Minimum 3 years experience in learning and development is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Life Science, Technical Communication, or a related field is required.
