We are seeking a Datacenter Technician to support a large-scale datacenter consolidation project for a global organization. This role requires a hands-on individual comfortable with physically demanding tasks in a highly secure datacenter environment. The ideal candidate has experience in infrastructure operations, hardware support, and IT asset management.
This is a 3-month contract (extensions possible), 40-hour-per-week onsite role in Eagan, MN.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.

Responsibilities
- Support datacenter operations and consolidation efforts, including:
- Physical deployment, cable management, racking, and labeling of hardware
- Triaging hardware issues and coordinating vendor repairs
- Assisting with IPMI configuration and remote management setup
- Update and maintain CMDB documentation and ticket status using ServiceNow
- Follow safety protocols and take direction from onsite project leads
- Use Slack and email for ongoing communication with the team
- Submit weekly timecards to the project lead for approval
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the project or site leads
- 1 years of experience in a datacenter, QA, or lab engineering environment.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with MS Office tools.
- Experience with IPMI and ServiceNow preferred.
- Detail-oriented with good documentation practices.
- Associate degree or relevant certification in IT or related field
