Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Web Server & Application Migration Consultant on behalf of our client in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves leading the migration of complex web and application environments while ensuring high performance, security, and compliance with modern infrastructure standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Windows Server administration, IIS, and network security, along with hands-on experience in enterprise-level migrations.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute migration strategies for web and application environments

Configure, manage, and optimize IIS web servers and middleware components

Implement micro-segmentation and define firewall rules to secure applications

Ensure system configurations align with enterprise security architecture and standards

Manage SSL/TLS certificates and maintain secure configurations

Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and support production deployment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, networking, and security
Required Qualifications

4 years of experience in enterprise systems administration or application migration

Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022 or later)

Strong experience with IIS web servers and application middleware

Solid understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP, FTP/SFTP, SMTP)

Experience with load balancing and network security concepts, including micro-segmentation

Proven experience managing SSL/TLS certificates and secure configurations
Preferred Qualifications
