Job SummarySTAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Guidewire Business Analyst on behalf of our client in Greenville, SC. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong insurance domain expertise and hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter. The candidate will play a critical role in bridging business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery of high-impact insurance technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into functional specifications and user stories
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and architects
- Support backlog refinement, define acceptance criteria, and ensure delivery readiness
- Provide expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, including Rating and Integrations
- Perform data analysis and data mapping for Guidewire and third-party integrations
- Contribute to business process analysis and solution design
- Utilize Guidewire Advanced Product Designer, data dictionary, and underwriting rules framework
- Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical execution
- Identify process improvements and optimization opportunities
- 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance domain
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (Rating & Integrations)
- Understanding of Guidewire configuration concepts and tools
- Proficiency in data analysis and data mapping
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end insurance lifecycle and policy administration
