What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Staffworks?
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our production team. In this role, employees will assemble products and components using hand tools, equipment, and assembly machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assemblers may rotate between multiple workstations and responsibilities throughout the shift, including but not limited to:
- Assemble finished products and components according to work instructions and quality standards
- Package small parts with instruction sheets into sealed poly bags
- Assemble extension components including tubes, inlets, cap nuts, and outlets
- Perform hose assembly tasks, including attaching ferrules, shutoffs, hose barbs, dip tubes, and preparing products for crimping
- Assist with pump assembly using small air press equipment and conveyor systems
- Work on compressed air line production, including screening tanks, carton assembly, packaging sub-assemblies, palletizing finished products, and preparing shipments for warehouse transfer
- Read and follow order sheets and assembly instructions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and basic instructions
- Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
Schedule
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate
$16.00 per hour
