Mig/Tig Welders

Pay: $20-$30/hour, based on skill and experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Straight days, weekends off.

A fast-growing custom manufacturer is hiring welders to build exhaust systems for performance and custom automotive work. You’ll cut, form, fit, and weld stainless, aluminized, and mild steel into finished parts, and no two days look exactly alike. The shop is clean and modern, and the company is growing.

How pay works

• $20-$25/hr: Newer welders. Weld school grads and people with some shop time who have solid fundamentals and a good attitude.
• $26-$35/hr: Experienced welders. Strong TIG and MIG on thin-gauge material, stainless experience, and clean, leak-free work.

What you’ll do

• Build collectors, mufflers, flanges, transitions, and full exhaust assemblies
• MIG and TIG weld thin-gauge material
• Cut, roll, bend, and form sheet metal on brake presses, rollers, shears, and plasma cutters
• Read blueprints and fabrication drawings and fit parts to spec
• Check your own welds for quality, strength, and alignment
• Grind, finish, and keep your work area clean

What helps

• Welding experience of any kind, from weld school and shipyard work to years in a fab shop
• MIG skills, with TIG a big plus
• Stainless steel experience
• Bonus: AWS certification, purge welding, or exhaust and automotive fabrication experience
• Pride in clean, careful work
