What You’ll Do
- Direction: Architect the strategic vision for the structural division, managing personnel growth, workload distribution, and overall engineering execution.
- Design: Spearhead the structural conceptualization and detailed engineering for diverse assignments, including civic facilities, public works infrastructure, and rehabilitation initiatives.
- Consultation: Serve as the principal technical advisor for external partners, guaranteeing clear communications, precise engineering accuracy, and exceptional project delivery.
- Mentorship: Nurture the professional advancement of junior and mid-level engineering staff by providing rigorous technical oversight and quality assurance reviews.
- Integration: Collaborate seamlessly with internal multidisciplinary teams to deliver unified, comprehensive engineering solutions.
- Administration: Oversee project financial health, master scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
- Development: Cultivate lasting relationships with municipal entities, government bodies, and institutional clients to secure future business pipelines.
- Compliance: Monitor evolving building regulations, regional codes, and pioneering industry methodologies to maintain cutting-edge design standards.
What You Bring
- Credentials: Credentialed with a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (a Master’s degree is highly advantageous).
- Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) status within the Commonwealth, or the immediate capacity to secure reciprocity.
- Experience: Accumulation of 8 to 15 years of progressive advancement within structural design and complex project oversight.
- Leadership: Demonstrated capability to guide engineering teams, optimize workflows, and successfully execute major infrastructure assignments.
- Technical Breadth: Mastery in designing with diverse materials, including structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber across varied facility types.
- Software Acumen: Proficiency utilizing advanced structural modeling and drafting platforms to execute complex analytical workflows.
- Communication: Exceptional articulation skills necessary to command client presentations, anchor stakeholder meetings, and author winning project proposals.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
