What You’ll Do
- Architect comprehensive survey project plans, establishing precise timelines, resource allocations, and operational workflows from inception to delivery.
- Champion quality assurance initiatives, rigorously reviewing boundary calculations, topographic maps, ALTA/ACSM surveys, and construction stakeout data to guarantee absolute technical accuracy.
- Direct field crews and office technicians, providing clear strategic guidance to optimize daily data collection and drafting productivity.
- Cultivate enduring client relationships, serving as the primary technical advisor and maintaining transparent, proactive communication regarding project milestones.
- Synthesize complex field data using advanced engineering software to resolve intricate boundary, utility, and roadway alignment challenges.
- Drive department-wide efficiency by simultaneously supervising multiple high-priority projects while consistently meeting strict regulatory and fiscal deadlines.
What You Bring
- Experience: Accumulation of 5 to 10 years of progressive leadership within survey project management, specifically navigating land development and infrastructure assignments.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced, hands-on mastery of Autodesk Civil 3D for spatial analysis, mapping, and design integration.
- Credentials: Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is mandatory; holding a dual PLS license in New Jersey is highly advantageous.
- Expertise: Deep, functional command of ALTA standards, legal boundary determination, topographic mapping, and utility as-built validation.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal communication talents combined with a solutions-oriented mindset, fierce organizational aptitude, and a passion for team-focused problem solving.
