Admissions Coordinator
We are a mental health treatment facility licensed to provide Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) level of care in New Jersey.
We are seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to help us achieve our mission of supporting individuals on their journey to recovery.
Job Summary
The Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Screening, answering, and responding to inquiries by telephone regarding program admissions.
- Meeting with clients on admission to conduct face-to-face screening and reporting to the clinical team.
- Conducting initial assessments of client problems and needs and reporting to the clinical team to initiate treatment planning.
- Prioritizing client needs and issues related to client orientation.
- Alerting the clinical and other staff to any special problems or issues that may affect treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide information to clients and families about the treatment program, helping them decide about treatment, prepare for admission, and what to expect.
- Complete the admission process efficiently and accurately, reviewing documents with the client.
- Provide orientation material to clients and families to help them acclimate to the treatment environment.
- Orientate clients to the treatment environment with sensitivity to new-client concerns.
- Provide referrals for individuals who are not eligible for the program.
- Represent the program to referral sources, potential clients, and other outside individuals and agencies in a courteous, professional manner.

- Demonstrate a willingness to accept responsibility and complete tasks with concern for work quality.
- Protect the confidentiality of clients and the privacy of staff.
- Report any concerns regarding client privacy and observed practices in violation of policy to their supervisor.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time (hybrid) position located in Merchantville, NJ. Pay range: $50k-$65k (plus bonus opportunities).
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
