Requirements
- At least three years of experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing trailer equipment
- Basic mechanical and computer skills
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds
- Welding experience is a plus
- Must provide personal hand tools; large equipment is supplied
- Strong attention to safety and quality
- Dependable attendance and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Assist with tractor-trailer inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Perform routine safety checks and preventive maintenance
- Help replace damaged or worn parts
- Support welding and trailer-rebuilding projects
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop
- Follow DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- Help technicians deliver accurate, high-quality repairs
